Hereinafter referred to as B&H.

The legal basis for data processing can be found in the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (EU-GDPR).

Access Data/Server Log Files

B&H (or its web space provider) collects data on every access to the website (so-called server log files). The access data includes:

  • Name of the accessed website
  • Name of downloaded files (if applicable)
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Status messages regarding the access result (ok, denied, or other)
  • Type and version of the browser used
  • Type and version of the operating system used by the visitor
  • Referral URL (the previously visited page)
  • IP address and provider of the visitor

The provider uses the log data exclusively for statistical analysis for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of the website. However, B&H reserves the right to review the log data retrospectively if there are concrete indications of unlawful use. The data will not be passed on to third parties. Normally, this data is deleted after 90 days. In cases of a court order or suspicion of misuse, the data will be stored as long as necessary for clarification. This data processing is permitted under Article 6, Section I, Letter f of the EU-GDPR.

Contact Forms/Communication

When contacting the provider (e.g., via contact form or email), the user's information is stored for the purpose of processing the request and in case follow-up questions arise. This is legally permitted under Article 6, Section I, Letter b of the EU-GDPR. The data will be deleted in accordance with statutory retention regulations once the defined periods have expired, which is generally after six years.

Revocation, Changes, Corrections, and Updates

As a user of this website and thus a data subject, you have the right to receive information about the data stored about you (Article 15, Section I EU-GDPR).

Furthermore, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected (Article 16 EU-GDPR). You may also request the deletion of your data (Article 17, Section I EU-GDPR) or, if legal regulations prevent deletion, request a restriction of processing (Articles 17 and 18 EU-GDPR).
